F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix Betting Picks

Pilihan Taruhan F1 British Silverstone Grand Prix

F1 is back for the 21st and penultimate race of the 2023 season in the first-ever Las Vegas Grand Prix, where Max Verstappen looks to continue his dominance having become a three-time world champion already.

The Dutch driver has had a fantastic season after winning 17 of the 20 races so far this season, with Carlos Sainz’s win in Singapore the only race where Red Bull haven’t been the winning team. He looks to make history as the most winning driver in a single season this weekend, but he’ll have competition on a tough circuit.

We’ll take a look ahead to the race and see if we can provide you with some extra cash for the season with our best free F1 betting picks.

Favorites to win Las Vegas F1 Grand Prix

Below you’ll find a list of favorites to win the 2023 Las Vegas Formula 1 Grand Prix.

Max Verstappen – (-270)

Verstappen has won five straight races and 15 of 16 with his lone outlier being a fifth-place finish at Singapore. A brand new circuit means another chance for history in this dominant season, and much like all season it’s far more likely that he gets it done than doesn’t.

He’s still putting the finishing touches on what will go down as the greatest single season in F1 history. Remember, Max set the all-time record with 454 points a year ago and has already well surpassed that (524) with two races to go.

A big dilemma with the race in Las Vegas is the unknown. Then, there is the known. Verstappen winning races is second nature.

In reality, everyone would be shocked if he didn’t claim the win here, and that’s why he’s the best bet for this race. The fact -270 represents good value says it all.

Lando Norris – (+900)

Norris took his fifth podium in six races with a second-place finish at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix last weekend, which has helped him get over a poor start to the season that saw him fail to get a podium in the first nine races.

The 23-year-old is still seeking his first F1 victory. Over the last few races, it has become more and more apparent that Norris is going to break through eventually and this is a great chance for him to do it on a brand new circuit.

Currently, the main aim of Norris is to win a race at any cost. It boils down to the race to Turn 1. Vegas has two DRS zones and 17 turns overall. Can he be among the select drivers to win this year besides Verstappen? While he has struggled to put together his best race, anything is possible.

The debut edition of the Las Vegas race means more opportunities. At +900 there is fantastic value on him to get the job done considering his recent form, but it will take something happening to Verstappen to aid it for him.

Lewis Hamilton – (+1675)

Before Verstappen set the record, Hamilton had established himself as the GOAT.

Unarguably one of the greatest drivers of all-time, the seven-time world champion is still trying to help Mercedes get back to their best after the first winless season of his career last year.

The fact Hamilton hasn’t won a race since his last world title is startling, and it looks even more likely now that he’s going to go winless for a second straight year.

Recent races haven’t gone his way after a spell where he had fantastic run of form. He finished 5th in Japan, failed to finish in Qatar, got disqualified in the United States after initially finishing in 2nd place, was the runner-up behind Verstappen in Mexico before finishing a disappointing 8th place in Brazil last time out.

The value is there for betting on him if you fancy an upset, but it’s a long shot considering the strength of the grid around him and the way that Mercedes have been performing.

George Russell – (+3600)

Russell has had a somewhat disappointing season, reaching the podium just once this year (at the Spanish Grand Prix) after completing a breakthrough 2022 season in which he reached the podium eight times.

His recent form has been good-not-great, securing 15th, 6th, 5th, 4th, and 7th place finishes in the last five races. Realistically a victory here would be an absolutely crazy result when you consider the form of Mercedes this season and the fact that Hamilton is in far greater form, but stranger things have happened in F1 over the years.

He’s got good pace and on this track the unknown could be vital, so if he has a good qualifying campaign and gets a good start in the race then you never know.
